Summer Dance Forever has appointed Sanne Lohof (a.i.) as new Managing Director of the international hiphop dance festival, effective 25 January. Lohof replaces Luc Deleau, who takes up a new role as Programmer Performing Arts after leading the team for twelve years.

Lohof is no stranger to the festival, as she previously worked as a marketeer for Summer Dance Forever between 2013 and 2018. Before that, Lohof worked as a project manager for an art education project, held various marketing and communications positions in the cultural field and works as a programmer at music venue Paradiso, where she takes care of all scientific and societal programs.

Chair of the board, Suzy Blok: “We want to thank Luc for his tireless efforts the last twelve years. Under his supervision and with his dedication the festival has become one of the biggest international hiphop dance festivals in the world. We are delighted that he will stay a part of the team as Programmer Performing Arts. We are also happy to welcome back Sanne. With her broad experience and clear view on the business, we have every confidence that she’s the right person to continue to shape and professionalize the future of Summer Dance Forever.”
