The box office will open when Paradiso opens its doors. We will be selling 50 tickets at the door for each program. If you want to secure a ticket, we recommend arriving early!

As a Festival Package holder, you need to exchange your ticket for a wristband at Paradiso (Weteringschans 6-8) during it's opening hours:

• • Fri 31 Jan: from 20:00
  • Sat 1 Feb: from 13:30
  • Sun 2 Feb: from 18:00

Can't find your ticket? Your ticket(s) will be downloadable from 14 August in your MySDF account. Login to your account on our website and click on “My Orders” to find an easy overview of all your purchased tickets.

During the SDF Weekender, we will sell 50 tickets at the door for each program, starting when the doors open. We advise you to arrive early to have a chance at purchasing them, as these tickets might be very popular! 

In addition to workshops for experienced dancers, we also offer beginner workshops, marked with a 'beginner' label next to their name. The teachers make an effort to accommodate different skill levels within each class.

Yes, all the locations have barrier-free access. For more information please check the information provided on the websites of the venues.

Each class will be a little different, as the teachers also adapt the class to the dancers who are taking it. Often we see dancers taking more than one class by the same teacher, to keep learning from the same teacher and developing their skills.

Please note that the festival area is in a low-traffic zone, and the city center of Amsterdam does not offer very cheap parking. From ecological grounds, and for your convenience, we advise our visitors to use the extensive and well-functioning public transport network. If traveling by car is a necessity for you, these are some car parking options with the closest location to the event venues:

As part of the festival, both our SDF Weekender and Summer Dance Forever present the most thrilling and breathtaking hiphop theater performances from around the globe. This is what we call Theater Forever.

A Festival Package gives you entrance to all events except the workshops, both in winter and summer. These Workshops require a separate ticket. There can sometimes be limited capacity at some of our theatre shows; entrance is on a first come, first serve basis. 

A Weekender Package (€48 online) grants you access* to:

• House Dance Forever (battle & preselection)
• Theater Forever: Fresh Moves
• Clubbing Forever
• UK Base, Bruk and Beyond (club night)
• Digging Deep into House (club night)

*excluding workshops

The venues where Summer Dance Forever mostly takes place are:

• Internationaal Theater Amsterdam (ITA)

• DelaMar Theater

• Melkweg

• Foundation HipHop Center

• Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (AHK)

• Amsterdam Dance Center

Kids up to 8 years old have free entrance for the battles and preselections.

The minimum age to participate in the battle is 12. For the workshops, we recommend an age of 12. Club nights are 18+.

Yes, we are selling food during the House Dance Forever preselections and battle on Saturday and during Clubbing Forever on Sunday in the Paradiso basement, with vegetarian and vegan options available. Next to this, there are many good food option in the Leidseplein neigborhood.
