PHOTO EXPO SJOERD DERINE

You might have seen his name below some of our beautiful theater and battle photos. But Sjoerd Derine does much more! He has been active in the performing arts for over 20 years, both as a dancer and photographer. To celebrate this milestone, he curated an exhibition: KAIROS. The viewer is invited to experience the impact of dance through these photographs.

You can visit KAIROS at ITA in the Rotonde, and Sjoerd has also brought the exhibition to the facade of Paradiso, where you can admire it for two weeks!

Kairos in Greek mythology represents the fleeting, decisive moment, that instant in which you must act. Not later. Now. It is the perfect moment that appears in a flash and disappears just as quickly, an opportunity you can seize only if you recognize it immediately.
