Searching for the ISM is a performance by Nedda Sou powered by ISH Dance Collective. In this explosive dance performance, four dancers go in search of what gives their lives meaning. After two years of lockdown and standing still, they make room for new things. Focussing on renewed energy, different directions and new forms, the dancers will take you on their fantasy filled quest.
For Searching for the ISM, Nedda Sou collaborates with four krump dancers. Krumping is a street dance style that originated in the United States in the early 1990s and was partly inspired by African traditional dance forms. Krump is characterized by expressive and theatrical movements performed with high energy.
Searching for the ISM is a sequel to WITHER, the performance that Nedda Sou presented in 2021 during the ISH Open Nights. There she was chosen by ISH Dance Collective as a maker. With powered by ISH, ISH coaches new makers in a tailor-made way.
