Seminar: Motherhood. Now Dance (free entrance)
Free entrance for everyone (limited capacity!)
In the seminar 'Motherhood. Now Dance', renowned international and local hip-hop dancers who have become mothers will discuss the influence of motherhood on their careers.
The program begins with the screening of the documentary '140 BPM', which tells the story of five artist mothers – dancers, choreographers, and performers – who have taken the step of becoming mothers and openly share how this life change affected them. Following the documentary, there will be a panel discussion where dancers will share their experiences and insights. How have their changed bodies influenced their dance language? Can they count on understanding and support from those around them? And how does society make room for a woman who has made performing arts her career?
15:00 - 15:40 Screening "140 BPM" by Martine Mbock
15:40 - 17:00 Panel discussion
The panel will be announced soon!
