Locking & Waacking Forever are dance battles held during Summer Dance Forever, featuring the top 24 best dancers from around the world competing in these two dance styles. ‘Locking’ is a style of funk dance in which the dancers ‘freeze’ their movements. ‘Waacking’ is a dance style that originated in the 1970’s gay clubs in California, and is characterized by striking arm movements, poses, and footwork.
To participate in the battles, dancers must enter the preselections and make it to the Top 24. Visitors can enjoy watching the preselections and see who advances to the thrilling battles.

If you want to participate in the battles, you first need to register and participate in the preselections. The top 24 best dancers from the preselection will go through to the actual battle.
Minimum age for participation is 15 years.
